Outgoing LW radiation at TOA - MTG - 0 degree

The Outgoing Longwave Radiation (OLR) product is important for Earth radiation budget studies as well as for weather and climate model validation purposes, since variations in OLR reflect the response of the Earth-atmosphere system to solar diurnal forcing. The product is based on a statistical relationship linking the radiance measured in each FCI infrared channel to the top-of-atmosphere outgoing longwave flux integrated over the full infrared spectrum. The computation is done for each pixel considering the cloud cover characteristics (clear sky, semi-transparent and opaque cloud cover). The OLR product is available in netCDF format, every 10 minutes, at 2 km spatial resolution at nadir.
